Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of March 2 -- March 6:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, applesauce;

Tuesday -- chicken Parmesan, Italian green beans, chocolate cake;

Wednesday -- Swedish meatballs, corn, pear crisp;

Thursday -- franks and beans, green beans, chocolate pudding;

Friday -- baked turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, pumpkin pie.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; ballroom dancing, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of March 2 -- March 6. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- red beans and rice, beets in orange sauce, layered salad, 100 percent whole wheat bread, apple butter, fruit cocktail;

Tuesday -- chicken tetrazzini, zucchini, whole wheat dinner roll, veggie soup, cupcakes;

Wednesday -- Diabetic friendly menu: cheeseburger meat loaves, roasted green beans and onions, pears and cottage cheese;

Thursday -- roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, salad bar;

Friday -- seasoned tilapia, rice pilaf, brussels sprouts, gazpacho soup, whole wheat rolls, strawberries and ice cream.
