Friday evening at twilight, two cars collided at the entrance of Comstock RV Park, closing down Highway 372 for five hours between Blagg Road and Pahrump Valley Boulevard.

An SUV was waiting to exit the park onto Highway 372 at the same time a Nissan Altima, reportedly driving without lights, turned off the highway into the park's entrance.

The driver and one passenger inside the Nissan had to be extracted by Pahrump Valley Fire-Rescue Services EMTs. The third passenger managed to exit the car on his own.

All three occupants of the Nissan were taken to Desert View Hospital. The driver of the SUV sat and waited in her vehicle throughout the incident.

Highway Patrol Trooper R.W. Hubbs and Sheriff's Sgt. Mike Horn responded to the scene.
