The wait is over for anglers and hunters who have been anxious to buy their 2009-2010 fishing and hunting licenses.

Licenses and all stamps, including the state duck stamp, are available at Nevada Department of Wildlife offices and will be available at license vendors by March 1. The current license year ends Feb. 28.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife protects, restores and manages fish and wildlife, promotes fishing, hunting, and boating safety.

The department's wildlife and habitat conservation efforts are primarily funded by sportsmen's license and conservation fees and a Federal surcharge on hunting and fishing gear. For more information, go to the Web site, www.ndow.org.
