Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Feb. 23 -- Feb. 27:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- fried chicken, mashed potatoes, steamed cauliflower, fruit cup;

Tuesday -- chili-cheese baked potato, peas and carrots, pineapple cake;

Wednesday -- tuna casserole, green beans, vanilla pudding;

Thursday -- baked ziti with Italian sausage, Italian green beans, peaches and cream;

Friday -- battered cod, baked potato, mixed veggies, chocolate cake.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Feb. 23 -- Feb. 27. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- baked ham and pineapple, scalloped potatoes, broccoli, salad bar, cupcake;

Tuesday -- vegetable chow mein, egg drop soup, oriental salad supreme, pears, ginger spice roll;

Wednesday -- Diabetic menu: fiesta beef enchiladas, zucchini delight, salad bar, apricots, bread pudding snacks;

Thursday -- barbecued chicken, sour cream potato salad, steamed spinach, corn-on-the-cob, seven-grain bread, apple butter, banana;

Friday -- old fashioned beef stew, whole wheat dinner rolls, salad bar, creamy rice pudding.
