Pahrump Valley's three sophomore starters -- Casey Scheller, Alyson Kunzi and Ashley Lindgren -- combined for 33 points, as the Trojans defeated visiting Spring Valley 51-29 in season-ending Southwest Class 4-A girls basketball Friday night.

Pahrump Valley (9-7 Southwest, 18-14 all games) led 10-4, 15-12 and 30-19 at the quarters against Spring Valley (4-12, 4-14).

Scheller had 18 points, Kunzi 8 and Lindgren 7, while senior center Kristi Daffer had 12 points and 23 rebounds in her final Pahrump Valley basketball appearance.

Lady Trojan teams were 91-39 with Daffer as a starter over the last four seasons.

Adrianna Flores scored eight points for the Grizzlies.

*Anton Stallworth netted 19 points to lead four double-figure scorers, as Spring Valley downed Pahrump Valley 72-45 Friday.

Corey Clement added 16 points, while 6-8 Esteban Gonzalez had 13 and Jordan Hatter 10 for the Grizzlies (7-9, 11-15).

Marvin Weekly scored a game-high 23 points for Pahrump Valley, which finished 0-16 in its first Class 4-A boys basketball season. The Trojans were 7-23 in all games.
