What: Sunset Region Southwest Class 4-A Division games.

When: 5 p.m. girls, 6:30 p.m. boys.

Where: Pahrump Valley High School gym.

Bottom line: It is Pahrump Valley's first and only Friday night basketball action this season. It will be Senior Appreciation Night; honored will be boys senior players Mike Amburgey, Dwayne Estes, James Gang, Tyler True, Marvin Weekly and Chase Williams, Senior girls are Kristi Daffer, Vanessa Veloz and Alexis Abou-Halaka. Also to be recognized are senior cheerleaders and dance-team members.

Records: Spring Valley boys (6-9 division, 10-15). Spring Valley girls (4-11, 4-13), Pahrump Valley boys (0-15, 7-22). Pahrump Valley girls (8-7, 17-13).

2008-2009 series: Spring Valley boys d. Pahrump Valley 45-33; PVHS girls won 49-30.

Admission: $4 adults, $2 students and senior citizens.
