Bishop Gorman booters clinch title tie

Megan Brascia scored in the second half and Las Vegas Bishop Gorman clinched at least a share of the Southwest Division Class 4-A girls soccer title with a 1-0 victory over visiting Sierra Vista Tuesday.

Alex Holland was in goal for the Gaels (11-0-0 division, 13-0-0 in all matches). Sierra Vista is 8-3-0, 9-4-0.

Bonanza 3, Desert Oasis 0 -- At Desert Oasis, Gabriella Romero scored twice to lead the Bengals (6-3-2) over the Diamondbacks (0-10-1).

Shirley Rivera also scored for Bonanza, and goalkeeper Kylie Wassell made five saves.

Durango 4, Clark 1 -- At Durango, Amanda Lopez's two goals helped the Trailblazers (7-3-1, 7-5-1) defeat the Chargers (3-7-0, 3-8-1).

Josie Dean and Janie Bordinhao also scored for Durango.

Nathalia Booth scored for Clark.

Idle were Spring Valley (2-5-4, 2-6-5) and Western (1-7-2, 1-8-3). Each team plays 14 division matches.

* Pahrump Valley played in the fall Class 3-A League, finishing 5-4-1 against Southern rivals, 7-10-2 in all matches.
