PHOTOS DEPORTIVO WINS
HORACE LANGFORD JR. AND SUBMITTED PHOTOS Deportivo Pahrump defeated River Plate 4-2 to win the Las Vegas Valley Soccer League championship, Sunday at Honeysuckle Park. Lorenzo Barajas, Martin Apolinar, Erick Rodriguez and Francisco Herrera scored for Pahrump, which got solid goalkeeping from Osvaldo Cruz. It was the second time in three years that Deportivo Pahrump won the league championship. 
Francisco Herrera was named best offensive player. 
Osvaldo Cruz won the goalkeeping award. |
