Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Feb. 16 -- Feb. 20:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- Spanish Omelettes, sausage links, southwestern potatoes, applesauce;

Tuesday -- herb-baked chicken, baked potato, steamed veggies, apple bake;

Wednesday -- shepherd's pie, corn, lemon cake;

Thursday -- spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, mixed veggies, brownies,

Friday -- chicken enchiladas, refried beans, corn, bread pudding.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.; Humana, 9:30 a.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Feb. 16 -- Feb. 20. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- Closed

Tuesday -- spinach lasagna, garlic bread, mixed fruit, salad bar, brownie;

Wednesday -- chicken, broccoli and rice, beet salad, apricot bran muffin, low-sodium margarine, honeydew and cantaloupe fruit cup, birthday cake;

Thursday -- Diabetic menu: pork and sweet potato skillet, cauliflower, dinner rolls, garden salad, mixed fruit;

Friday -- tomato soup, lemon-baked fish, corn pudding, steamed peas and carrots, honey wheat-berry bread, jam crisp ginger cookie, spiced applesauce.
