HORACE LANGFORD JR. / PVT Last Friday, Floyd Elementary School Principal Holly Lepisto appeared with purple hair in honor of her students earning 14,897 reading points in the school reading challenge. Books are assigned a point value according to the degree of difficulty. The students read and are then tested before having the points awarded. Originally, the expectations were only 11,000 points. |
