Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Feb. 9 -- Feb. 13:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- sweet and sour chicken, steamed rice, mixed veggies, vanilla pudding;

Tuesday -- Swedish meatballs, peas and carrots, apple crisp;

Wednesday -- smothered chicken, potatoes au gratin, green beans, brownies;

Thursday -- chili with corn bread, peas and carrots, fruit cup;

Friday -- baked tilapia, steamed rice, green bean casserole, pineapple cake.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Feb. 9 -- Feb. 13. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- Diabetic menu: baked bean stew, whole wheat rolls, colorful salad, fruit cocktail, rice krispie squares. Prize drawing at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday -- chicken teriyaki, green beans, fried rice, layered salad, mandarin oranges, peanut butter cookie;

Wednesday -- baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, low-fat French dressing, 100 percent whole whet bread, chantilly fruit cup;

Thursday -- tuna noodle casserole, cheesy toast, peas and carrots, salad bar, oatmeal raisin cookie;

Friday -- baked salmon, rice pilaf, steamed broccoli, cream of mushroom soup, dinner roll, cake and ice cream.
