Utilities Inc. to pursue funds
Last week the Pahrump Town Board unanimously refused a request from Utilities Inc. of Central Nevada for a letter of support for the company's $238 million water and wastewater infrastructure proposal and bid for stimulus funding from the Obama administration.

Girls need help; boys seek first 4-A win
Two games out of fourth place with four games remaining, the Pahrump Valley girls are still mathematically in contention for one of the four playoff berths in Sunset Region Southwest Class 4-A Division basketball.
