Charles Murdock Charles Murdock, 80, passed away Nov. 17, 2009, in Las Vegas. He was born June 24, 1929, in Maricopa City, Ariz. He graduated from high school in Chandler, Ariz. in 1946. He then earned certification as a deisel mechanic from Los Angeles Trade Technical College and was a driver and mechanic in the trucking industry. Charles helped with construction of the Alaska Highway and owned and operated a trucking firm during the 1970s. He is survived by a sister, Rita Streed of Norwalk, Calif. (11/17/2009) James Sims James Sims, 77, passed away Nov. 15, 2009, in Pahrump. He was born June 18, 1932, in Denver, Colo. and was a 20-year resident of Pahrump coming from Ridgecrest, Calif. James served in the Air Force and worked as a techical writer for the U.S. Navy. He was of the Protestant faith and a Vestry member. He is survived by his wife Anita L. Sims, four children and two brothers, Robert and Arthur Sims. There will be no services. (11/15/2009) |
