There will be discussion and a possible decision at Tuesday night's town board meeting about a communications site lease agreement with GWRC-LLC, the company currently working with the town on the communications tower, or with Vern Van Winkle, owner of KPVM-TV Channel 41.

On Aug. 11, the board discussed a proposal from GWRC and tabled the item.

Van Winkle expressed concerns that if the town accepted GWRC's suggestion about allowing commercial businesses to make use of the tower, it would be aiding competitors to his and other radio or TV stations.

Also on the agenda, is a request for $5,000 from room tax funds for the upcoming Wild West Extravaganza.

The board will also discuss setting a date for the town's 2010 July fourth celebration.

On the consent agenda, several members are being proposed for advisory boards.
