Shark spikers

The Rosemary Clarke Middle School volleyball camp and tryouts will be held Aug. 24-28 in the Sharks' gym, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

The camp fee is $35.

Tryouts for the RCMS teams will be held at the same time, as well as Aug. 31-Sept. 3.

RCMS football

On Aug. 19, there will be a mandatory parents meeting after practice (at around 7:30 p.m. in the gym) for the Rosemary Clarke Middle School football team.

Equipment will be distributed Aug. 22 in the morning.

The Sharks will scrimmage Moapa Valley on Aug. 29 and the season will open at home Sept. 4 against Faith Lutheran.

Spirit coaches

The 2009 Nevada State Spirit Coaches Education and Training meeting will be held today and Thursday in Las Vegas, at Bonanza High School.
