Faith Lutheran, moving into Class 4-A in the 2009-2010 school year, is 4-4, 7-19. Overton Moapa Valley is 4-4, 13-11, while Boulder City is 2-6, 6-14.

In fast-pitch softball, Boulder City's Eagles, winners of 18 straight games, are 8-0 in the league, 21-3 in all games.

The regional baseball and softball tournaments have new formats. In best-of-three series to be played May 15-16, the No. 1 seed will play No. 4, while No. 2 takes on No. 3.

The series winners advance to state tournaments: May 21-22-23 for baseball and May 22-23 for softball, both at Faith Lutheran.
