Construction work began this week at the federal detention center site at 2250 E. Mesquite Ave.

Negotiations drag on over Front Sight
Nye County planners continue to negotiate a development agreement with Front Sight Management Inc. for 2,066 condominium units, a 400-room hotel, 279 recreational vehicle spaces, 40 one-acre home sites, a shopping area and clubhouse.
