Nathan Adelson Hospice, Pahrump is making plans for the fifth annual Blue Butterfly Coffee House.

This exciting event is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, in the event center at the Pahrump Nugget.

The Blue Butterfly Coffee House is a fundraising event for Nathan Adelson Hospice and is fashioned after the coffee houses from the 1950s and '60s.

In the past the variety of entertainment has included folk music, poetry reading, stand-up comedy, ventriloquists and magic

There will be exciting changes this year. Auditions will be held for talent May 11, 12 and 13 in the stagebar lounge of the Pahrump Nugget.

NAH is looking for stand-up comics, poets, groups but not bands in the fashion of Peter, Paul and Mary, folks singers and novelty acts that might have been seen in the coffee houses of the 1950's and 60's.

All talent must be 21 years or older. Anyone interested in trying out will need to call to set up an audition time. All auditions will be by appointment only.
