Lindgren wins two events in UNLV meetPVT Ashley Lindgren won the 400-meter dash and the 800 run, as Pahrump Valley put on a strong showing in the UNLV High School Invitational Track and Field meet Saturday, at the Lied track complex on campus. Lindgren, a sophomore, won the 400 in 1:00.01 and the 800 in 2:33.06 for the Trojans, who were among 12 teams competing in the meet. Ashley Rencher won the shot put with a mark of 12.86 meters; Megan Hamrick was fourth at 10.9 meters. In the discus, Rencher was second at 127 feet, 4 inches, with Hamrick eighth at 81-4. Beatty is also slated to perform. * Pahrump Valley's boys' golf team was at Rhodes Ranch Tuesday for a Southwest 4-A division match, hosted by Durango. The Trojans are at Red Rock Arroyo Tuesday for another 4-A match, hosted by Gorman. |
