Playing in the tournament for the first time in its 19-year history, Las Vegas Centennial's Blue team won the Pahrump Valley Invitational Boys Golf championship Tuesday.

IN NEVADA LEGISLATURE: Wildlife group reviews bills
With the State Legislature looking at several important bills that could affect Nevada's wildlife and habitat, the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners spent Monday in a special meeting reviewing those bills and deciding whether to support or oppose the proposed legislation.

Fishermen should avoid transporting mussels
Go fish! But while you're at it don't move a mussel. That's the request from fisheries biologists with the Nevada Department of Wildlife who are asking anglers to take the precautions necessary to prevent the spread of quagga mussels and other aquatic nuisance species between waterways.
