The Pahrump Valley Softball Association season starts Tuesday, with the first game at 7:30 p.m. Ice-Breaker tournaments were contested each of the last two weekends; the co-eds played March 21, with the men competing Saturday. The co-ed teams were Advancers/Advanced Chiropractic, Who's Your Daddy/Masters Touch, Massage-Furniture Warehouse-Southwest Wellness-Spring Mountain Chiropractic-Tiffany Pryor and Irene's Casino, which won the tournament. Young Guns/Short Branch/Pahrump Valley Auto Plaza defeated Ruff Ryders/Pahrump Valley Auto Plaza 15-8 for the men's title. Also competing were Monster Bang/Alamo Fireworks, Dr. George Leaks, Bad News Bears, Starlite Video, Bandits/Sparkling Clean, Da-Hui/Silver State Trucking and Heath Co. Alex Bietar scores for the Ruff Ryders in one of the tournament games played at Petrack Park.
