Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of April 6 -- April 10:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, almond green beans, applesauce;

Tuesday -- ham and cheese casserole, peas and carrots, pineapple cake;

Wednesday -- smothered chicken, potatoes au gratin, southern style green beans, apple crisp;

Thursday -- Swedish meatballs, mixed veggies, vanilla pudding;

Friday -- battered cod, brown rice, corn, chocolate cake.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.; hair cuts, 9 a.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Walmart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m.

Thursday -- Shipp-Medicare counseling, 10 a.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; ballroom dancing, 1:30-3:30 p.m.; board meeting, 5 p.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.; tax service, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of April 6 -- April 10. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- vegetarian stuffed peppers, mustard greens, garlic bread, apricots, cottage cheese;

Tuesday -- Diabetic friendly menu: turkey vegetable crescent pie, winter squash soup, salad bar, raspberry cheesecake;

Wednesday -- pepper steak, brown rice pilaf, tomatoes vinaigrette, Dutch apple cake, bran roll, peach butter;

Thursday -- chicken noodle soup, French bread pizza, broccoli salad, rainbow sherbet, oatmeal date bar, pink lemonade;

Friday -- Easter dinner: baked ham, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, dinner rolls, apple crisp.
