Beckett guilty of reckless driving
Last Friday Nye County District Attorney Bob Beckett pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless driving in Barstow, Calif., District Court.

Trojans sweep Southwest foes
Mike Gonzalez, after missing almost two weeks of the season, threw a four-hitter, as visiting Pahrump Valley defeated Las Vegas Western 9-0 in Sunset Region Southwest Class 4-A baseball Tuesday.
