Willie and Pauline Moore

Willie and Pauline Moore were married Aug. 1, 1948, in Escondido, Calif., soon after high school graduation.

They have now celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Willie retired from Navy Civil Service in San Diego, Calif, where he was a supervisor of electronic engineers.

Pauline is a retired office manager and owner of a dress shop in California.

They are both active members of Pahrump Valley United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. They have lived in Pahrump since 1993.

Their son, Russell Moore, resides in California and daughter, Kathleen Anderson, lives in Pennsylvania. There are two grandchildren.

The also enjoy traveling in their RV.

The couple celebrated with family and friends in the Pennsylvania home of their daughter and son-in-law last month during a visit.
