Missoula Children's Theatre

The Missoula Children's Theatre production of "Rumplestilskin" will be 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 11 in the cafetorium.

Senior trip to Laughlin

The Pahrump Senior Center will host a bus trip to Laughlin Oct. 15. The bus will leave the VFW on Homestead Road at 8 a.m. and arrive at Edgewater Casino at 11 a.m.

Participants will receive a voucher for a free lunch buffet. There is a shopping outlet and a movie theater across the street.

The return trip will leave the casino at 5 p.m. and arrive at the VFW at 8 p.m.

Reservations must be made and paid by Oct. 13. The cost is $20.

Oktoberfest at Honeysuckle Park

The United Way of Pioneer Territory will host the annual Oktoberfest 2 p.m. until dusk Oct. 11 in Honeysuckle Park.

There will be live German music, a wet T-shirt contest and bratwurst, sauerkraut and potato salad for $6.

Beer, soft drinks and water will be available, and hot dogs and chips for the kids.

Free vendor spaces are available.

Bring chairs or a blanket.

Amargosa fundraiser

The Amargosa School will hold a fundraiser 9-2 p.m. Oct. 18 to help fund a trip to Washington, D.C. for the kids.

Country music jamboree

The Nevada Country Music Association will hold a jamboree 10-6 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Short Branch Saloon in Crystal.

The all-day event will feature food, karaoke, dancing, bands, prizes, appearances by the Pahrump and Beatty gunfighters and a meet and greet candidates forum.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

Bones & Brew Cook-off

The Pahrump Elks will host the Bones & Brew Cook-off Oct. 25 at the lodge, 2220 Basin Road, one mile east of Highway 160.

There will be food, a no-host bar, games, entertainment, door prizes and an awards presentation.

The event is open to the public.

Pahrump Gunfighters

The Pahrump Gunfighters will put on a show for the public at 1 p.m. Oct. 26 at "Dusty Flats," at the rear of the StageStop Lounge and Casino on Stagecoach Road.
