Open mike at Preferred RV Resorts

The Tumbleweed Tales Society and Preferred RV Resorts, will host an open mike night of cowboy poetry with "Cornbread Amos" and performances by the Tumbleweed Tales Society 2-4 p.m. May 31 in the clubhouse. The public is invited.

The entrance is behind Terrible's Town Casino.

Cost is $2 at the gate.

Scotty's Castle organ concert

Scotty's Castle will host the annual organ concert performed on the Welte-Mignon pipe organ at 7 p.m. June 13, 14 and 15.

This year's organist is Donna Parker.

Tickets are available for June 13 and 15 only, are $30 and all proceeds go to benefit the Scotty's Castle Organ Fund.

Benefit concert

The Cinderella Girls will sponsor a benefit concert at 7:30 p.m. May 31 at the Skate Zone.

Serene, Dac & Cali with Deal 'N Records and Iscariot Syndrome will perform.

Proceeds go to benefit the Cinderella Girls Scholarship Program.

Teen night

The Nye Communities Coalition and St. Martin's in the Desert Episcopal Church will host a teen night 6-9 p.m. June 5 at the Pahrump Town Pool.

Middle school- through high school- aged children are invited for an evening of free swimming, food and fun.

Amargosa Days art/craft show

In conjunction with Amargosa Days, the Amargosa Valley Art Guild will hold the 6th annual art and craft show, 10-3 p.m. June 7 at the Amargosa Valley Community Center, 812 E. Amargosa Farm Road.

All artistic mediums are welcome.

Prizes will be awarded for best art, best heritage art, best fabric art and best display.

A $100 Holtz award will be presented for best of the best.

All entries must be homemade.

Swap meet items are not acceptable.
