Bill Kohbarger was officially selected as the new town manager at Tuesday's Pahrump Town Board meeting.

The 2007-2008 scholar-athletes and the athletes of the year were honored at Pahrump Valley High School's Senior Awards Night Wednesday, in the gymnasium. Iggy Wagner, above, was named one of two top scholar-athletes.
AT PVHS: Senior athletes receive honors
Elias Armendariz didn't win a fourth consecutive individual championship, but he helped lead Pahrump Valley to the Nevada Class 3-A state wrestling title.
