Casting call for Brad Pitt moviePVT
This area seems to have attracted the attention of Hollywood yet again and those on a quest to become an actor might get the chance to find out what it's like to be on the big screen in a major motion picture. Vicky Boone Casting is looking for people to play extras in the next movie to be filmed in the local desert. "The Tree of Life" is a family movie using the Death Valley area as a backdrop. The kicker -- Brad Pitt is in a starring role. Vicky Boone Casting is conducting a search in Beatty and surrounding areas for people between the ages of 12 and 60. All ethnicities are welcome but they are seeking a certain kind of "look." The casting company wants a "timeless, non-modern or unique look." No information is currently available concerning the plot or the era being depicted. The casting call will be a brief visit with a member of the casting team and those participating should bring a non-returnable photo. "Families, spouses, siblings, children, grandparents and people with expressive faces are needed to fill the parts and no experience is necessary," according to the press release. The casting call will be 12 noon to 3 p.m., Sunday, June 1 at the Beatty Community Center, 100 A Avenue North. Interested parties may e-mail extracastingcall@gmail.com or call 512-637-9782, although an appointment isn't necessary. A list of accommodations and other information can be obtained from the Beatty Town Office, 775-553-2050. |
