Rick D. Jordan

In loving memory of Rick D. Jordan, 55, who passed away May 13, 2008, at Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, after a long illness.

He was born Oct. 31, 1952, in Iowa and was a resident of Pahrump for 12 years.

He was a chef and a veteran of the Air Force.

Wife Bobbie; son Josh and daughter Katie survive him.

Mable M. Haycock

Mable M. Haycock, passed away May 16, 2008, at the age of 101 years.

She was born Jan. 28, 1907, in Dayton Ky. She was raised in Cincinnati, and moved to North Las Vegas in 1958. She moved to Pahrump in 2003.

Mable was a retail sales consultant for 35 years and a member of Women of the Moose No. 1425 for 63 years.

She is a member of St. Martin's in the Desert Episcopal Church.

Mable is survived by her daughter, Beth (Harley) Ketring; daughter-in-law, Lena Haycock; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William S. Haycock; father, William (Billy) Haycock Jr.; two sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 24, followed by a service, Rev. Julie Platson, presiding, Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Martin's in the Desert Episcopal Church. (05/16/2008)

Judith Nell Femmer Campbell

Judith Nell Femmer Campbell passed away May 16, 2008, in Pahrump.

She was born June 16, 1943, in Mexico, Mo.

She was an elementary school teacher in Pahrump for 37 years.

She graduated from Mexico Senior High School in 1961, and went on to receive her BS in education and a MED in elementary administration and education specialist degrees from the University of Missouri.

She also taught kindergarten for nine years at Midway Heights in Columbia and was the principal at Blackwater for two years.

For the next 15 years, she owned Buttons and Bows pre-school daycare in Columbia.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Marie Reynolds of Maui, Hawaii and son, Jeffrey Clark (Tammy) Reynolds of Las Vegas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Celia Femmer and an infant brother.

There will be a memorial service at 4 p.m. May 21 at Honeysuckle Park. (05/16/2008)
