The following information was provided by the Nye County Sheriff's Office. All crimes are alleged and all defendants are presumed innocent:

At Pahrump:

* Jennifer Cruz, 20, of Las Vegas, was booked into Pahrump jail May 7 charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Bail was set at $5,000 and she was released on her own recognizance per Judge Brisebill. She was bound over to Pahrump District Court and a promise to appear was signed.

* Anthony Smiley, 19, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 7 charged with assault of a deadly weapon and possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription. Bail was set at $8,000.

* Renee Maynard aka Machlan, 37, of Las Vegas, was booked into Pahrump jail May 8 on four counts of burglary and four counts of forgery. Bail was set at $40,000.

* Valerie Farras, 20, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 8 on a domestic battery charge. Bail was set at $3,000. She was released May 9 on her own recognizance with conditions per Judge Brisebill after a court date was set.

* Fernando Sarandos, 23, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 8 on a domestic battery charge. Bail was set at $3,000. He was released May 9 on his own recognizance with conditions per Judge Brisebill after a court date was set.

* Chester Wertman, 44, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 9 on a Pahrump Justice Court warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $5,000.

* Stephen Anderson, 18, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 9 charged with obtaining dangerous drugs by misrepresentation and possession of dangerous drug without a prescription. Bail was set at $5,632.

* Mary Osten, 43, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 10 on a domestic battery charge. Bail was set at $3,000. She was released on her own recognizance May 13 per Judge Whittaker after a court date was set and an agreement to appear signed.

* Brenda Pinon, 37, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 10 on three Pahrump Justice Court warrants for issuing non-sufficient funds checks. Bail was set at $16,200. She was released May 13 after bail posted and a court date was set.

* Ronald Solis, 20, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 11 on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, battery with substantial bodily harm, minor in consumption and robbery. Bail was set at $63,632.

* John Rogers, 39, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 12 on charges of possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,632.

* Edna Gilbert, 35, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 13 on a domestic battery charge. Bail was set at $10,000. She was released after bail posted and a court date was set.

* Christopher Warpness, 31, of Pahrump, was booked into Pahrump jail May 13 on charges of interrupt 911, coercion and harassment. Bail was set at $3,264.

At Beatty

* Krystal Novak was booked into Beatty jail for charges on an outside warrant for felony fraud and forgery. No bail was set. She was released May 9 when the charges were dropped from the felony warrant out of New Mexico.
