Class 3-A qualifiers

The top three teams and the top five players off non-qualifying teams in the Northern 3-A League were eligible for the Nevada Class 3-A boys golf tournament, played at Mesquite Tuesday and today.

The North does not conduct a play-in tournament. Eligibility depends on season team and individual averages.

State Tournament

The Nevada Class 3-A Boys State golf tournament began Tuesday at The Palms Golf Club in Mesquite.

Today, CasaBlanca Golf Club in Mesquite will host the final 18 holes, starting at 11:10 a.m.

Other tournaments

The Nevada Class 2-A Boys Golf state tournament concluded Tuesday at Rivers Edge in Needles, Calif.

Among the entries was Denver Otteson of Tonopah.

The Nevada Class 4-A Boys State tournament was played Monday and Tuesday at the TPC Las Vegas course.
