David C. Kelso David C. Kelso, 53, passed away April 6, 2008 in Pahrump. He was born April 29, 1954 in Bronx, N.Y. and was a resident of Pahrump for nine years, having come from New York. He had been employed as a toll collector by the state of New York and was a member of Thruway. His lifetime companion Florence Bourdeau of Pahrump and sister Lynn Kelso of New York survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be in New York. (04/06/2008) ![]() Marie Louise Pross Marie Louise Pross, 85, passed away April 27, 2008 at Manor Health Care Center, Summerlin in Las Vegas. She was born May 2, 1922 in Baltimore, Md. and was a resident of Pahrump for 10 years. Her husband of 68 years, Charles R. Grigg; sons Charles and Mark Grigg both of Portland, Ore., and Leo Grigg of Oxnard, Calif.; brother Leo Pross of Baltimore; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Pross and Louise Roche. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Las Vegas. (04/27/2008) ![]() Danny Joe Ellis Danny Joe Ellis, 58, passed away May 5, 2008 in Pahrump. He was born May 19, 1950 in Mancos, Colo. and was a resident of Pahrump for 16 years, having come from Delores, Colo. He worked in construction, was a member of the Local 112 and was a veteran of the Army. His daughter Tanya Ellis of Pahrump; son Brian (Michelle) Ellis of Irving, Texas; sister Joan McGee of Corona, Calif. and six grandchildren survive him. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., May 9, at Willow Creek Golf Course. (05/05/2008) ![]() Cecil Eugene Rogers Cecil Eugene Rogers, 76, passed away May 6, 2008. He was born June 27, 1931 and was a resident of Pahrump for 36 years, having come from California. He was retired, a member of the NRA-Iron Crossmen, a veteran of the Marines and of the Catholic faith. His wife Joan Rogers of Pahrump; son Eugene Rogers of Utah; daughters Deborah Douglas of Oregon, Michelle Westbrook of California and Valerie Hyke of Oregon; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren survive him.
