With a capacity crowd watching, the Enterprise Rent-a-Car PBR tour made its first-ever appearance in McCullough Arena a success.

More than 40 of the sport's best bull riders competed for $8,000 in prize money. Unofficially, the winner was Tyler Smith, who had an 89-point ride in the arena. Smith was ranked 124th (among 385 riders) in the latest Enterprise standings, having earned $4,179 this season. Official results have not been reported, or recorded on the PBA Web site.

Among the entries was L.J. Jenkins, who has earned $121,005 on the circuit this season. The leading money winner, incidentally, is Clayton Williams, who has pocketed more than $530,000 this year.

At the end of the season, the top 45 cowboys on the PBR tours will advance to the Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series (presented by Wrangler) Finals.

The crowd, which included many fans from Las Vegas, was enthusiastic throughout the two-hour show.

The competition area on the arena floor was reduced by half its normal size for this special appearance.
