Track

The Southern Nevada Class 3-A, 2-A and 1-A Track and Field Championships are Friday and Saturday at Moapa Valley High School in Overton.

The meet starts at 3 p.m. Friday and at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The state championships will be determined May 16-17 at Damonte Ranch High School in Reno. May 16 events start at 3 p.m., with May 17 action beginning at 9 a.m.

Baseball

The Southern Nevada Class 3-A Baseball tournament will be played Thursday through Saturday at Boulder City High School.

Thursday's games are No. 2 seed Mesquite Virgin Valley vs. No. 3 Boulder City at 3 p.m. and No. 4 Pahrump Valley vs. No. 1 Las Vegas Faith Lutheran at 6 p.m.

Subsequent games are at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. (if necessary) Saturday.

The champion advances to the state tournament May 15-16-17 at Reno.

Softball

The Southern Nevada Class 3-A Fast-Pitch Softball regional tournament is Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Boulder City.

First-round games are No. 2 Faith Lutheran vs. No. 3 Virgin Valley at 4 p.m. and No. 1 Pahrump Valley vs. No. 4 Boulder City at 6 p.m.

Subsequent games are at 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. and noon (if necessary) Saturday.

The state tournament is May 16-17 at Bishop Manogue High School in Reno.

Boys Golf

The Southern Nevada Class 3-A Boys Golf Championships are Thursday at Mountain Falls, starting at 11 a.m. The state tournament is Tuesday at The Palms (10:40 a.m.) and Wednesday at Casablanca (11:10 a.m.) in Mesquite.
