Franklin 'Ed' and Eleanora Merica

Franklin E. "Ed" and Eleanora Merica recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

The couple celebrated with dinner out in the company of their son Franklin E. Merica Jr. and daughter-in-law Ann who also share the same anniversary date. The Merica Jr. couple was celebrating 42 years of marriage.

The elder Mericas also have a son, F. Eugene, who resides in Dayton, Ohio with his wife Nancy and their daughter, Virginia.

The Mericas have three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Gene and Joyce Griswald

Former longtime Las Vegas residents, Gene and Joyce Griswald, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at their home in Pahrump.

They were married April, 25, 1948 in Las Vegas.

Both attended the Fifth Street Grammar School and Las Vegas High School.

Gene is a retired engineer/draftsman and Joyce is a retired school bus driver.

The couple has two children, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
