Deputy jailed for sex assault on prisoner
A Nye County Sheriff's Office deputy was arrested and booked on charges of kidnapping, sexual assault, and "oppression under the color of office" Wednesday, March 26.

HORACE LANGFORD JR. / PVT Bob Hopkins directs the action for the Pahrump Valley High School girls' basketball team he coached for 13 seasons. The veteran coach, with 479 career wins, won't be back in the 2008-2009 season, when the Trojans move into Class 4-A.
