Domestic violence talk on tap Sunday
Doris Turrentine is a contract trainer for the Faith Trust Institute. She is licensed as an evangelist and is a survivor of domestic violence. For over 20 years, Turrentine has built alliances within the faith community and fostered relationships between domestic violence service providers and the clergy. As the founder of WASH Ministries, she has made it her purpose to reach the victim who has been rejected, abandoned and left with no hope. Turrentine will speak at the 11 a.m. service Sunday, March 30, at Central Valley Baptist Church, 3170 S. Blagg Road. There will be a Lord's supper and potluck after the morning service.
