The Pahrump Senior Center is sponsoring a bus trip to Laughlin on March 26.

The problem is, there isn't much time to make reservations because the deadline is March 24.

The itinerary looks like this. The travelers will meet at the VFW on Homestead Road and depart at 8:15 a.m. that morning. Plans are to arrive at the Golden Nugget at 11:15 a.m. for a "fun-filled day."

It is economical and the coach is air-conditioned.

Participants will get a $5 certificate from the Golden Nugget to spend.

The trip home will be at 5:15 p.m. and the bus will arrive back at the VFW at 8:15 p.m.

Rules and regulations are: no smoking on the bus, no profanity on the bus and no hot drinks allowed because it's the law.

The recommended tipping policy is $1 per person, per day.

The cost is $20 and reservations are mandatory and must be paid in full by March 24.

Fifty spots were available and at last count, there are 12 left.

The trip is open to seniors first and others closer to the deadline.
