Easter Sunrise Service

Central Valley Baptist Church will have an Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m., March 23, 3170 S. Blagg Road.

Town Easter egg hunt

The annual Pahrump Easter egg hunt will start at 9 a.m., March 22 in Petrack Park.

Besides plenty of Easter candy, there will be Easter baskets, stuffed bunnies and a bicycle as prizes.

The Easter Bunny will put in an appearance.

Children up to 10 are invited to participate and the hunts will be broken down by age group.

This year's festivities are sponsored by the Town of Pahrump, the Kiwanis, Boy Scout Troop 748 and Wal-Mart.

Catholic Holy week

Below is the service schedule for Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 581 S. Gamebird Rd.

March 21 -- Living stations of the cross, 1:30 p.m.; the Lord's passion and veneration of the cross, 3 p.m.

March 22 -- blessing of Easter food baskets, 10 a.m.; Easter vigil Mass, 8 p.m.

March 23 -- Mass, 9 a.m.; Mass 11 a.m.

Revival

The Second Missionary Baptist Church of Pahrump will have an annual revival at 7 p.m., March 21 at the church, 1591 Bridger St.

Choice Hills Baptist Church choir will present "The Easter Lily" on Sunday, March 23 at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
