The Four Freshmen perform with that same unmistakable sound of the original group -- a vocal harmony like no other. They have strongly influenced many groups over the years including, Take Six, Manhattan Transfer and the Beach Boys.

In the 22nd incarnation of the group, only four Freshmen are touring, their longevity proves they are doing it right. Performing Freshmen hits, they also present some of their own favorites blended with audience-pleasing charisma and humor.

The Four Freshmen play their own instruments as well as sing - they are fully self-contained. The exciting presentation of these consummate entertainers offers arrangements for any occasion including big band as well as the lush sounds of a symphony orchestra. They are considered the best young jazz vocalists in the business.

"This new group is so talented, even more so than the original. They bring a new kind of presence to the stage," said Palm Beacher of the Web site www.fourfreshmen.com.

This year is the 60th anniversary of the vocal group. Bob Flanigan, original founding member, remains involved with the group today behind the scenes. In fact, he will be in attendance at the show this weekend at the Pahrump Nugget.

They are playing two shows nightly at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., tonight and Saturday in the Pahrump Nugget Lounge.
