Dwarf Cars will be among the divisions running Saturday night when Death Valley Raceway runs its final race before taking a summer break. Action is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.

AMARGOSA VALLEY - Eight classes will be included when stock car racing returns to Death Valley Raceway Saturday night heading into a summer break.

Included will be IMCA modifieds, mini stocks, Dwarf cars, super stocks/factory stocks, classic coupes, modified minis, micro sprints and Bombers.

Death Valley Raceway is a third-mile dirt track situated just south of Highway 373 between Lathrop Wells and Death Valley.

Points leaders include Dan Fitzgerald (IMCA modifieds), Mark Dillie (Dwarf Cars), Fred Hardy (Bombers); Steve Edwards and John Pietrozani (factory stocks); Erroll and Eddie Sharron (micro sprints; Michael Lysinger (mini stocks); Anthony DeBiase (super stocks); Randall Boren (classic coupes); and Eric Slusher (mod minis).
