Murel H. Johnsen

Murel H. Johnsen, 84, passed away June 23, 2008, in Pahrump.

He was born Oct. 6, 1923, in Wisconsin.

Murel traveled all over the world.

Wife Nancy Johnsen of Pahrump; sons Gary Johnsen and Rick Johnsen, both of Washington and Juan Changano of Pahrump; daughters Diane Bump and Geri Cruz, both of Washington; brother Leo Johnsen of Washington; sisters Mary Jane Eaton of California and Audrey Black of Washington; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive him.

Services will be held in Washington. (06/23/2008)

Lora 'GiGi' J. Rolla

Lora "GiGi" J. Rolla, 68, passed away June 24, 2008, in Las Vegas.

She was born April 29, 1940, in Fairfield, Calif., and was a resident of Pahrump for 12 years, having come from North Dakota, where she had lived for 30 years.

She was a social service worker and loved volunteering in the community. She gave so much to everybody and now she is getting her glory.

Everyone is better for knowing her.

Her significant other, Charles Bender; son Ronald (Elizabeth) Robinson; daughter Rebecca Denise Herr; grandchildren Shantrail Tennessee, Laura Ann Carol and Amanda Margaret Robinson, Michael and Ashley DeLotelle and Brittany Herr and two great-grandchildren survive her.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. June 29 in the chapel at Lee Funeral Home, 720 S. Buol Lane. (06/24/2008)
