PHOTO FOWL FLIGHT FAILS
HORACE LANGFORD JR. / PVT A Valley Electric Association linesman begins work on repairs after removing a dead bird, whose crash into the riser pole left a main corridor of Highway 160 without power. An outage occurred at 10:32 a.m. on the west side of Highway 160 affecting Panda Express, Nevada Federal Credit Union and Sonic Drive-In. Power was restored in approximately one hour. There were no injuries; alas, the bird did not survive. |
