HORACE LANGFORD JR. / PVT Floyd Elementary School, located at Kellogg and Jane streets in south Pahrump, will open for the first time in August for students in kindergarten through fifth grades. Walking through the $18.2 million facility recently were Carl Moore, Mike Floyd and Dave Wonderly. Work remains on the main entrance; the library or multi-media room has to be furnished and stocked with books and computers and a sophisticated multi-purpose room will give students opportunities for advanced learning.
