Paul Lesley Langley Paul Lesley Langley, 65, passed away June 6, 2008, in Pahrump. He was born June 4, 1943, in Dalton, Ga., and he was a Pahrump resident for 12 years. He graduated from Elston High School in Michigan City, Ind., and was retired from a career in management and sales. As veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a member of the International Poets Society and the American Legion, John Franklin Miller Post. Son Jason Langley of Largo, Fla.; daughters Denise (Tab) Coonfare of Largo, Elizabeth (John) Sullivan of Yokosuka, Japan and Rachel Langley of St. Louis, Mo., and three grandchildren survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 17 in Grandview Cemetery. (06/06/2008) Shirley Eva Hecker Shirley Eva Hecker, 83, passed away May 28, 2008, in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Germfask, Mich., and was a resident of Pahrump for 10 years, having come from Milwaukie, Ore. She was a homemaker who traveled, played games and raised her children. Sons Dennis (Theresa) Pommerening and Gary (Linda) Hecker; daughters Connie (Dennis) Brown, Judy (Gary) Toll, Yvonne (Ken) Coalman, Faye Hamlin and Wanda (Ken) Sorenson; brother Gary Holbrook and sister Sharon Miller survive her.
