Bob Beckett's county-issued Ford Expedition in the sheriff's office impound lot. Beckett rolled the vehicle near Shoshone, Calif., but walked away with only minor scrapes on his hand.

DA busted for DUI after two wrecks
Nye County District Attorney Bob Beckett was involved in two separate motor vehicle accidents Sunday, June 15, the latter of which resulted in his being arrested and booked on a single charge of driving under the influence.

The annual junior golf clinic was held Tuesday and Wednesday at Mountain Falls, with more than 90 boys and girls, ages 7 to 18, participating.
