PHOTOS Keep Track
The 2008 high school track meet was highly successful for Nye County athletes. Clockwise from upper right are Darius Dolly of Pahrump Valley starting the 100-meter dash at the Nevada Class 3-A State championships; Sergio Castro competing in the 800-meter run; Kyle Taylor running in a meet at PVHS earlier this spring; Karli Jarvis and Jennifer Porte of the Beatty 4x400-meter girls relay team, and Jose Mendoza and Tony Dare for the Beatty 4x400 boys relay team.
