County Commissioners will consider placing an advisory question on the November 2008 General Election Ballot asking "Should the Town of Pahrump incorporate?" at their next regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, June 17.

The request is sponsored by the Incorporate Pahrump Committee which was established to promote the town's incorporation.

This committee, made up of Tim Lockinger, Paula Glidden, Lori Dollar, Jeremy Jenson, and Russ Bateman, submitted the agenda item so "that the voice of Pahrump's citizens may be heard."

This group is different from the town's incorporation advisory board which maintains a neutral stance on incorporation and was formed only to gather information about what the possible implications of incorporation will be.
