GREELEY, Colo. -- Michael Allen Lovegren of Pahrump, was among the 2,000 students to receive a degree from the University of Northern Colorado at graduation ceremonies May 9 and 10.

His area of studies revolved around sport sciences and earned him a Master of Science degree in sports and exercise.

The University of Northern Colorado, the state's premier student-centered university since 1989, enrolls more than 12,000 students annually and offers an array of undergraduate and graduate programs among its five colleges.

It is nationally recognized college of business, award-winning colleges of education and performing and visual arts, and innovative college of health and human sciences are supported by cornerstone curriculum in the humanities and social sciences.
