Kohbarger: left Carlin proudly
Bill Kohbarger, the new Pahrump town manager, was quoted in the March 28 edition of the Elko Daily Free Press as saying he was terminated from his prior position as Carlin city manager for doing his job, not for his brash attitude.

Unauthorized ad sales people at work
The Pahrump Valley High School athletics department has issued a statement concerning the unauthorized solicitation of advertising. The same situation could also affect Beatty, Tonopah, Round Mountain and Gabbs high schools.
